Hello! My name is Ashley! I grew up in Wilmington , NC attending Cape Fear Community College and UNCW receiving my Bachelors in Psychology. While working on my bachelors degree, I was a habilitation technician working with a 30 year old with cerebral Palsy and an 8 year old with autism as their in home aid. This is where I found my love for occupational therapy and helping people become as independent and functional as possible. It is also where I found my husband while he worked for the same company! We now have two beautiful girls! I love the creativity that the OT field requires. I graduated from Milligan College in Johnson City, TN, as the Assembly of Student Delegates Representative for my school, with my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Through my training and clinical fieldwork I gained both pediatric and inpatient mental health experience. I enjoy pediatrics because of the life long impact OT has on them and their families. I love to help people (children and their families) become their best selves through our unique field of work that incorporates creativity and healthcare!
