I received an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting in 2015 and my Bachelors of Science in 2018 from the University of Charleston in my home town of Charleston, West Virginia, in preparation to one day further my education to receive a Masters in Occupational Therapy. I have been trained in Applied Behavior Analysis, and I have also been able to extensively shadow Psychologists, Physician Assistants, Cardiologists, and Orthopedic Surgeons to enhance my knowledge of various medical conditions, procedures, and treatments. I have worked with a variety of age groups and diagnosis including traumatic brain injury, orthopedic trauma, stroke, autism, developmental delays, sensory integration, feeding disorders, and many more. I have always been passionate about children and I am thankful to be able to join the CHOT family to continue practicing as a pediatric COTA/L. In my free time I enjoy volunteering with various non-profit organizations, hiking, fishing, and being outdoors with my husband.
