I recently received my Autism certification. I graduated from UNCG with a B.S. in Sports Medicine in 2007 and worked as a physical therapy aide in an orthopedic clinic for 5 years. I loved working in rehabilitation and did a hippotherapy work study at Horse Power in Colfax, NC. I then became more interested in pediatrics and sensory integration, switching gears from physical therapy to occupational therapy. I received my Associate’s degree in OT from Cape Fear Community in College in Wilmington, NC in 2015. My passion is working with the pediatric population, and I hope to volunteer services someday in underdeveloped countries.
