Rita
Hi! My name is Rita. I graduated in 1985 from WVU with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.  After many years managing Drs offices, I pursued a career in Occupational Therapy and graduated from the COTA program in New York in 1999.

I began the beginning of my career at West Point Military in elementary and middle schools hoping to enhance children’s lives with special needs. It was at that time we were blessed with two sons with Autism and I have spent the next 23 years working to advocate for Autism, OCD, ADD, sensory integration and anxiety disorders.
After working in management in Geriatrics, I had a desire to work in Pediatrics again when my sons became adults in hopes of giving back to families and children just beginning their journey.
It has been a privilege to work at Creative Hands Occupational Therapy since 2020.
My husband  and I are so excited to be living near the beach and spending quality time with both of our sons.
